Citè Soleil Community School is a Christ centered pre-K through 12th grade school with more than 200 students in the heart of the Boston Community of Citè Soleil. Citè Soleil is the slum in the capital city of Port Au Prince, Haiti. Citè Soleil has many unique challenges as it is considered an area of abject poverty with a high level of violence. A majority of the students at CSCS face hunger daily in their homes. We know that it is essential to be nourished to learn. Because of this, meals provided at CSCS are a vital part of sustaining life and encouraging education for every student. Each child is given hope for their future in the form of an education, nutrition, love, and Christian guidance at Citè Soleil Community School.
